When will production of 2012 models end?
I want a 2012 instead of a 2013, but I'm not immediately ready to buy. Also, I have a fairly specific option combo... trying to figure out the latest that I could order, or if not order, maybe find an unmolested 2012 on the lot (new and < 10 miles).
So anyone have a line on when production will end on the '12s?
FWIW, option combo is GT premium, 3.73s, brembo, white or black exterior lava red interior.

The ordering from the dealerships should still be for the 2012 cars. I do not think the factories will begin production of the 2013 orders until at the earliest maybe late February.
If anything, just ask any dealership to order a build for a 2012 you want and they should be able to get you into the queue so long as you do it now.
But usually, the dealerships will first search existing lot inventories for cars with the specs and options you want. If they find one, they can have it shipped for you to buy from them.
If you do decide on the ordering part, you should do it now. Any later, and the dealerships might close 2012 orderings and only only offer 2013 orderings to be queued up for late Feb early Mar (In which case, you will have to settle for your alternative, buying an unmolested 2012still on the lot).

Actual production will end in March, though that will probably be mopping up cars already sold. I bout an '11 in late April, but it was a real trick to search out what i wanted in Texas and then get it ferried in.
