I would love to see the dealership that could pull a "this cat-back voids the warranty on (problem part)" and get away with it.
aka dont worry about warranty with these.
dont believe any tuning is needed with exhaust pieces.
Welcome to the forum

ps. have fun with all the california emission regulations

1 - Catbacks and axlebacks can't void a warranty. Even my CAI & tune didn't void my warranty. Of course, most any dealership can intimidate the panties off of the average wuss.

2 - Axlebacks and catbacks do NOT require a tune

3 - Your '08 should be out of warranty or soon will be so f**k warranty concerns. Mod the bitch.

axlebacks will not require tunes, although if you go with longtube headers you'll probably want to tune it.. or if you go with an offroad h/x, you'll want to turn off the rear O2 sensors, which will require a tune

The ONLY thing a cat back will do is change the sound. And maybe lose some weight.

thank you guys very much, the exhaust system should be delivered today. as soon as i get it i'm going to the nearest muffler shop and have them installed, i'm also going to keep my stock exhaust just in case i get pulled over and get a fixing ticket =). i'll post pics soon. The car came with 3 years warranties and i had it extended for another 3 years. so just a recap i should be good with SMOG, good with WARRANTIES and no tune is required. NICEEEEEE!! thank you so much!
