Default huge Pothole FRIG

Hay, hit a pothole and was so wide that the hole car went in! Car seems to be fine not pulling but still afraid that i might have damaged something! are these cars built strong?

Nope... You should go down to your local chevy dealer and trade that broken horse in for a Gheymaro, err, Camaro.

In all seriousness, if the pothole was that wide, I have to ask, how deep was it? Was it more like a layer of asphalt has separated or was it a deep hole, like a sink hole?

Idk if this is possible,but couldnt you possibly sue the local transportation service for getting the car fixed?

2 to 3 feet long and about 3 to 4 inches deep, i have winter tires on so side wall is a little wider then my summer tires.

you say a pothole that big i imagine a the car pointing *** up in the sky
pretty sure if your car suffers damage due to potholes you can bill the city cant you?
<never hit a pothole and caused damage so im just guessing>

ok the pot hole is like if the city dug up a patch and didnt repave the road

ahh so its just some road work and not an actual giant pot hole.
I wouldnt suspect any real damage. If you notice any problems at most it would probably just be alignment got knocked out alitle

ya its hard to claim stuff like this, the city will never own up to it all they would say is that i should be more vigilant. If my car isnt out of line or make any noise i should be ok right?

Yeah, unless you can identify a problem, I think you'll be okay... However, all that goes out the window if you are as CDO (it's like OCD, but in alphabetical order as it should be....) as me, then you might never believe it is okay, even though you may never "know" there is a problem...
