Cant wait for the Stang to have IRS.
I know the GT500 will have adj shocks but I still dont think it will be able to compete around the curves with the ZL1 with the magneto shocks.
Heres to more competition. Cheers.

Why the extreme fetish for IRS? Learn to drive the car and spend a few dollars; it'll handle just fine.
The Mustang was born for the everyday secretary to enjoy some sporty driving without killing the wallet. Hence the live axle. It's a beautiful set up and works wonders when set up correctly.
If you don't like it, then stop crying about your current Mustang and trade the car in for a Camaro already.
And don't forget that V8 Supercars use the live axle to great effect. And yes they take curves like a beast.

why the desire for a car to use better, updated technology?.. I'll let you figure that one out on your own. like IRS would push the cars cost beyond affordability, all of the competition offers it.
no one here is crying. we like our stangs as they sit, we'd just like to see them improve instead of staying on old tech.

It does seem that people are bashing the 'Stang for having a live axle.
Plus even though it has IRS, the ZL1 basically drives the car. I bet a person who drives one would kill themself in a car that requires some real skill.

I think this video kinda gives you a better comparison. The two Cars are about equal on horsepower and this is before the track key was out...

If we always went along with "good enough", we'd all have model T's sitting in our driveways.
Nobody is saying that we hate our mustangs the way they are, that they aren't fun or near as good as an IRS system. We're saying that when there's room for improvement, we shouldn't close our eyes and say "nah nah nah nah nah" pretending not to hear it, we should actually step forward...
