New pics
I just picked up some new photo gear and to help break it in I met up with 808boss and we had a little photoshoot. He was nice enough to demonstrate the track key ford came out with and it is the business; The car sounds sick, the idle is mean and the launch control system is especially cool. Anyways I hope you all enjoy the shots, and I'm sure you won't mind but I snuck a few of my girl in too.
I also made a video of my drive home. Its a 2k foot climb up Haleakala, and hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I do. I hope it'll help thaw anyone stuck in the snow out.

Wow...I could be wrong and I was thinking gyro mount too, but it you look closely at the reflection in the rear view of the black glass and what appears some kind of large mount, its not moving. I would say this shows the body flex that occurs in the mustang...

I just used a tripod. I had one leg on the passenger seat buckled in, another behind me (leaning back on it) and the last in between the center console and the rear seat. The reason it stayed so stable is because in addition to that I had my arm through the legs and the shoulder strap which was just the right height to be able to shift and apply pressure downward to keep it steady.
It still moved around a lot which I think helped take some of the scale out. Those are some big hills, undulations and road irregularities.
