Replaced rotors and pads - Brake Job Done

Brake job done
Well I embarked on a journey that I had never done before. That was replacing rotors, pad, and SS brake lines. All went well and not to bad. I bought all the necessary tools to make the job easiest.

I did however run into a problem where I had a dumbass attack and put the rear brake pad the wrong way and messed up that rotor but oh well. Its done and works fantastic and looks good

So you reversed the brake pad like I guessed?
Looks good, glad to hear you straightened it out. And I merged the threads - so that your success in solving the issue shows.

well yea I put it back together like it should be but Im getting a new rotor and pad next week when I get home from work. Plus during the install I found out that I needed to get spacers b/c the wheels were barely touching the caliper. Im assuming when I got the wheels put on that there was just enough wear on the pads that they cleared.
So thanks for that little tid bit. I was annoyed with myself for sure

I wouldn't have thought to ask if that was the problem if I hadn't seen one come in the shop here that had the same symptoms as yours.
I had that same clearance problem with my track wheels when I put the new slotted rotors on. I think that some of the aftermarket "hats" are just a little shallower than stock. I used the grinder on my calipers on the rear, but under hard braking at the end of the pass the wheels tap the caliper still (so will be grinding again this spring) - and on the front it hits so much that I can't even turn the tires and already have a 3/8" spacer up there for the 15" race wheels. So more grinding on the front calipers to see if I can get the light weight wheels on this season.
Also will need to repaint my calipers, but they had chipped in a couple of spots anyway so G2 will send me a replacement kit to repaint so I didn't mind having to do some grinding. The grinding got all of the old paint off so I will have a "clean slate" when it warms up this spring.
