replacing oem strut mounts help
Ok, so first off I wanted to thank Jazzer for giving me some good info on my suspension. I went ahead and purchased lowering springs along with new shocks/struts. I went with Tein for the springs and the koni strt for the shocks/struts. Parts are in the garage ready to go!
Now time for my question, Ive been reading and searching for a clear cut answer with no luck, but Ive read that once i go and replace the struts I would also have to replace the strut mounts since the oem's wont do so great now the the car is going to be lowered. Ive read that I can either go with gt500 mounts for the steeda hd mounts which are supposed to be way better. Can anyone shed some light on this? ive also read about cc plates...are they supposed to do the same thing? Do I need them in addition to the upgraded mounts? I just wanna get this baby lowered so I'm looking to purchase what I need asap. Thanks for the info!

Steeda mounts are worth the money. Simple install and it makes adjusting your camber a breeze. You can even mark setpoints on them if you want to have different settings to hot-swap to them at the track.

Nope, don't need CC plates...I would have gotten the Steeda Sport springs instead, works well with those shocks.
