Thanks everyone! Yes, one of my friends who shoots my car is a pro but never shot cars before so I took him out and showed him what to look for (angles, lighting, posing the car and such) and then let him go. Some time here real soon you will be able to see what I believe is his best work on my car.....

No fear; Griffith Park has some great spots. It's certainly one of my favorite parts of LA; in fact one of the few decent areas of LA. Try a shot from the Observatory parking lot, early in the AM before everyone gets there...
