In all this isn't a bad idea for Ford sales wise as long as they keep the 2 door also.

This car actually looks decent, but I agree with most of you that it shouldn't be called a MUstang!

If they make a 4 door "mustang", I will sell my MUSTANG and buy a camaro. That will be the stupidest thing ever if that ever hits streets.
I did a report last year on the history of the mustang (got a 90 on it btw ;]) and the whole reason the ford came into creation was to fit a "family mans" needs.

#1, I like it as a concept, NOT as a Mustang.
Ford DOES need something to pin up against the Charger (which should NOT be a 4 door IMHO.)
I too think that something like this as a Crown Vic etc would be awesome. If it was available I might have gone that route. When I bought my 'Stang it was put up against a loaded Fusion Sport AWD. With the Sport AWD Fusions being rarer than the Boss', I went w/ the Stang...and saved a cool $3000 to boot.
Again, I like it, but it will NEVER be a Mustang. I like the Falcon idea.

I also believe/hope that it does not happen; however, back in the 60's Ford did have a four door prototype and even a station wagon version.
The Falcon name is being used in Australia, if a four door version where to be used how about bringing back the Galaxie 500. It's already +200 better than the Chrysler 300. lol
