So I'm wanting to get a Mustang again, I think this is number 9.

I must say Ford seems to get one thing right then mess something up IMO.
I love the retro look and the 5.0 has brought me back...but the horrible black trim on the 11/12 has kept me away.

To me the 2012 front end looks better IMO, more clean, so does the hood, I think the new hood is a no go, dont like the look of cheese grater heat extractors, the bridge of the nose on the 2013 is to pronouced to me, and the bottom cuts in the bumper are just over kill. The rear tail lights look a bit ricey to me on any color than black...IMO....just my 2 cents...still a nice car.

So, my new friend at work happens to own a Custom Shop.
Im thinkg of getting 2012 GT saving a bundle and ordering 2013 runners and the back bumper and whala, I think it would be a real clean looking car.

If I do it, I will post pics.

many people with 2010s+ have painted the black trim. it really changes the look of the car.

On some cars the black trim is nice. Red on black, and white on black... I like it

I think the black trim looks good on gray too Maybe im just biased.

I like it on my car because it adds to the spoiler, blackout panel, and wheels.

saw this pic of i think a 2011 next to a 2013 (the 13 doesnt have the hids that come stock though here and both dont have the stock fogs etc)
