Well, I know that

I'm just wondering how that would sound as compared to a true o/r H pipe.

Isn't the diameter of the crossover piece a bit less than 2.5" on the stock pipe or did I just read that incorrectly somewhere?

You'd also want to install post-cat O2 simulators, or tune out the rear O2s so you aren't getting a constant check engine. People may not care about the light, but if it's always on, you won't have any sensor indication that something else, perhaps unrelated, has gone wrong as well.

Your "warranty holder" will belittle you, call you names and make you feel guilty.

+1 on being an O/R H. I assume you don't have emissions testing.

He can guilt trip me all he wants.

In Alabama, people are lucky to have mufflers. I'm free to do as a I please with no regard to emissions.

Then why, after 4 years, do you still have cats?

Cancel it and use the money to buy a CAI/tune!

Just go ahead and go headers (longtune) and back, problem solved. If you have no emissions you might as well go all out. I am just a few feet from being able to go without cats... Stupid county line..

I personally love a full MAC exhaust but not everyone has the same taste.

Check out YouTube with some headphones on and listen to some clips. That's how you find your sound.
