Default Catch Can Installed

I got a catch can from UPR. Nice easy install for sure. Had to get a longer hose though as I couldn't mount it where they recommended. The length that came with it wouldn't reach. Nice piece though for sure. Polished finish.

gone with JLT.I called UPR they didn't want to make good on it!

I actually used fuel line that I got from napa since I need more length. (Story of my life LOL!!!)

The oil seperator is to catch oil from the PCV system and keep it from contaminating the intake reducing the possibility of detonation, valve deposits, and oil burning. It will allow air to continue to flow through the system, but will remove most of the oil.

I was wondering how they expected me to mount mine! Now I see!

Redfire - except on the 4.0 the catch can goes on the passenger side not the driver side. (PCV are on opposite sides 4.6 vs 4.0)

Looks good! This is getting close to the top of my list for my next mod. I would like to have braided stainless hose. Any suggestions?

Suppose you could get braid for the hose that just slides over the hose itself.

Install looks just like mine! It does add a nice touch to the engine bay.

BTW, I just emptied my UPR catch can after 4,000 miles and it was 3/4 full!
