What to look for when buying a new hood?
I'm going to buy a new ram air hood for my 06 GT. What do I look for to get a good quality hood. The one that I am thinking about is a GT 500 style Ram-air functional hood. It is the GT 500 style, but fits the GT. It sais it is FRP, Unpainted. I would guess that FRP is fiber glass resin something or other. The price is cheap so I'm guessing that the quality is also. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

My body guy says Harwood is the best, so you save on prep work even though the price is higher.
I have heard that TruFiber is good hoods, and I beleive the have a rep on this site. Not sure if either one has a hood like your looking for, but they definitly have lots of options. I going to order a 2 inch cowl for trufiber when I get the cash

I've seen Trufiber on cars, and I've seen Cervini on cars (by "seen on cars", I mean actually laid eyes on them). I have a Cervini, and the body shop guy said he likes working on Cervini stuff because they require so little work to prep for paint. My cervini came out really nice, and I'm thoroughly happy with t.
