How to remove door handle cable inside door panel?
Hi guys,
I removed my door panel to track down a rattle coming from the driver side window.
Whenever I go over a bump, there is a window rattle and it is driving me crazy. Something hard is hitting the window and the noise is so high pitch it drives me crazy.
Anyway, picture below shows the green cable that connects to the door handle. How do I remove that?
Thanks

you dont remove the green part from the molding you need to take needlenose plyers and pull the cable past the black boot where it latches to kind of hard to explain. needlenose plyers trust me youll figure it out i did it when I removed my door panels to paint them

no im no good at that kind of thing but ill try to better explain it look on the pic see the cable wire there is only a small bit exposed take needlenose plyers and clamp onto the metal wire and pull toward the black boot and with the extra wire you should be able to get the end of the wire out of the door latch boot

for the love of god dont try to remove the green part if you try you will most definatly break the plastic holding it in place and you will F up your door handle and wont be able to open your door from the inside.pull the cable with needlenose plyers until you have enough slack in the wire to turn the T shaped end to where it will go sideways and slip out.

the window rattle is still there. omfg
I put a lot of foam tape on the door panel but it didn't fix the rattle. The sound seems to be coming from the window regulator?
I also tighten the bolts holding the window regulator but didn't help
Does anyone have any idea or their windows rattle when going over bumps as well?
