2005 ford mustang V6 dual exhaust or single??
i was going to get a new exhaust system in my mustang V6. I wanted to get a dual exhaust for it but when i went to get a quote to see how much it would be, the guy that worked there said it wouldn't be a good idea to get a dual exhaust for it because it would sound worse then it would to get a single. I wanted to know if it is true or not and what should I do. i was thinking of getting a Flowmaster american thunder exhaust on it.

I literally just bought and installed the Flowmaster american thunder from AM.com on my car about a week ago (single exhaust) and I love it and highly recommend it. I can go take a pic of it on there if you want

I love the way my car sounds with single exhaust, but there are a lot of members on here that love their dual set ups. Your best bet would be going on YouTube, yeah a lot of the videos are crap, but it may give you an idea.

I had the American Thunder on my old car. Sounded great outside. On the highway though it was too much, couldn't hear the radio or another passenger and the drone was too much after awhile.
