Interior and IRS aside, I sure wish they would go back to a mid-muffler car, they sound SO much better.
As much as I love my 2010, I've just never heard a '05-'13 that I just absolutely love the sound of, aftermarket or stock.
Ugh.
I think the sound you are talking about disappeared when Ford started with the variable timing on the cams (2005). Where '04 and earlier engines had their timing fixed, their idle had a deeper throatier sound because the timing was set for mid-high RPMs.
But variable cam timing (fully independent now) has taken the smaller DOHC 5.0 liter to levels beyond Chevy's 6.2 liter pushrod engines.
Well it's apparent that you can't tell that the body is the 2013 body, they are testing the new suspension and probably some other components and Ford probably hasn't even made a full body yet. For the interior, I highly doubt that is part of the finished product, I can believe the speedo as they are probably testing the eco boost engine, but the big giveaway for the interior and this goes out to the true mustang people, the big blue oval logo on the steering wheel, since the mustang's inception FORD has kept that logo off the Mustang. So my advice for everyone is just chill out and wait for them to unveil at either the New York or Detroit Auto show.
The interior is GROSS! But no way that body is a 2015 it is due for a major in 2015 and thats not it. The interior I can see maybe but the sheet metal.

Yea like the original article in the link said, it's just a current body on the 2015 platform. No 2015 Mustang body has been spied yet.
