I just did this install with my base 2013 GT last night. That remote wire on the right side was extremely convenient! I ending up using butt connectors and splicing in to the positive and negative of both the left and right rear speakers via a line to RCA converter. My question to you guys is...Do you guys have the bass settings on the stock radio on medium or the lowest?

Note: I replaced the door speakers with aftermarket kenwoods. They sound good but if I set my bass on the stereo to the lowest setting, I won't get any mid-range sound through the door it seems. What do you guys recommend?

I dont set mine all the way down for that reason. I turn my sub all the way down (or off,) set the volume to the loudest I would listen to it, turn up the bass till I reach what I think the max bass I would push to my door speakers is. Then I turn up the bass from my sub to as loud as I am comfortable listening to that, then I turn the bass down on the radio, that way the "Bass" on the radio controls the relative volume and is linear between the sub and door speakers. I also have a remote bass control *** for my sub, so I can turn up the bass boost to the sub if I really want it to bump.

i replace the sub in the trunk.

yes use the 2 wire for the audio source, but it low level not high level so i just put a rca connector and plug in the amp.

i use the grey violet for the remote.
