Finally got my 4.10s in, but we have issues...
Finally got around to getting my 4.10s put in on Friday. Started the process of breaking them in as recommended. Babied the car 15 miles home with no issues. Let it sit overnight. Today, took the car out for another heat cycle and noticed a problem...
When pulling out from a dead stop, there is a pretty noticeable vibration that occurs for about a half second. It doesn't happen every single time, but I'd guesstimate around 70%. The problem seems to be magnified when on an incline.
I would akin the feeling to rolling over those rumble strips that they put on the sides of highways to warn you when you are drifting off the road, at a very slow speed. Similar to a chatter. I have also felt it when coming TO a dead stop and one time while starting in reverse.
Gears are FRPP. Used new bearings and seals.
I will be getting in touch with the shop that did the install on Monday. Any ideas on the cause?

According to my invoice, yes, but I am not sure how much was added. Could it be possible that more is needed? To add to my original post, it seemed to be worse when turning while beginning to move from a stop, although this may have been my imagination.

go to a parking lot and do tight figure 8's in each directions. sounds like your clutches in rear end are the culprit. i've had the same problem after changing the rearend fluid, showed up more after sitting awhile and turning right. just had some more friction modifier

I can replicate the problem when moving very slowly (under 5 mph) in both drive and reverse. I do not notice any issues when moving faster than this.
I tried doing some tight turns today, no improvement.
