sorry, i dont have a 5.0 so i'm not definate.
but if its tuned for regular, it shouldn't make more power with premium.
but i could be wrong.

Yeah, it's not like the 4.6s.. Using regular will result in a 10 horsie and over 10 lb-ft drop from the advertised 412/390..

Yes I did. It looks like from what you said I can indeed use regular, but I must confess I was a little confused by the 10 horsie drop stuff. Threw me off a little. I need simple, straightforward answers like, "YES! You can use regular!" I need the Complete Idiot's Guide to all things automobile.
