I have had my mustang for almost 2 years now. It is an 05 GT (automatic), but I have been really interested in swapping it over to a manual or trading it in for a newer model. I purchased the vehicle on a whim and although i got it for relatively cheap, i wasn't really aware of what a salvaged title was. Needless to say, i needed the car and purchased it. It runs great and I haven't had any problems with it. I really want to turn it into a manual transmission though and have been looking into options of whether I want to purchase materials from either a junkyard or finding parts online, or if I should just trade in the vehicle and get a newer model with a clean title and then build off of that. Any suggestions or bit of help would be great. Thanks!

You're not going to get much on trade in with a slavaged title.

I definitely would sell it outright. You are not going to get much on a trade in for it. I would suspect dealers are probably not going to be interested in selling it due to a salvaged title. More than likely it would go to auction.

Well, ideally i just want to swap the transmission, but im not sure if its better to buy a new one or find a used one and hope it works and then piece everything together.
