Well to be fair, my oil pump went out and had a cam lockup breaking a timing chain and the tensionser that attaches to the head. So the cam tower was screwed. Figured if I was gonna do the work might as well upgrade the heads. For 8 grand. Get the boss intake, 90mm bbk throttle body, and the vortech or procharger complete kits whatever you like. and you will be happy.

oh and some mods on the car are not listed as they wont really help performance. That total is with EVERYTHING.

He has a reserve fund for when he blows this engine...may even happen on the dyno!

At least then he can start from scratch...

it had 622 rwhp and I dont think pushing to 700 on the stock block is an issue. if I was going for 850 maybe.

750 rwhp would be about 860 crank.

would be awesome. may need some meth though to bump the octane up? seems like alot of hp

From what I know of, the GT500s are on seriously low boost. A dealer around here has an upgrade package that lists a 2.6" 4PSI pulley swap.

yea but the boss heads lower the compression a bit. with stock 5.0 pistons.

It's gonna break! You can't almost double the rear wheel horsepower of a car and expect it to live long. You are way past what ever safety margins ford sets. Same deal for a 4.6 making over 500rwhp.

11:1 compression + too much boost = BOOM!
