Default Very noisy in the car w/loud mufflers
Very noisy in the car w/loud mufflers: I have a 2006 Mustang V6, I love the loud muffler sound outside the mustang. It is worse on the highway or faster speed. I do not want to go to a quiet muffler. Any ideas on making the inside quieter????

its drone, some aftermarket mufflers are worse then others. let me guess, maybe flowmasters you have?

I would also say drone and probably flowmasters, they have a reputation for being obnoxious inside the car.

I can testify to flow masters being loud in the car. Definitely try some sound deadner.

just sound deaden everything and with 2 layers. it can be a real pita but totally worth it

Sound deadener didn't do **** for my drone.

Get a corsa muffler.

This is inevitable with any muffler that makes your exhaust louder.
