I really want to drop my car a good inch or two to get rid of the crazy wheel gap but until I land a new job my budget is tight. What would be the cheapest route that isn't complete crap from eBay? Can I get by with just some springs for now or will it not work well without shocks and struts too? Ride quality isnt a huge priority but handling is.
I have the FRPP-P Springs as well. Ride quality is pretty good, drops it an inch, won't give you the slammed look. If roads in your area are kinda rough, these are a good option. I have heard people with the FRPP-K springs hit the bump stops a lot on rough roads. I installed them myself in about three hours with a couple of jack stands and a floor jack. Make sure you have an impact wrench to break the nuts loose on the struts at the brake assembly.
