I currently have a 2013 GT /w A/B Roush mufflers and looking to get the ghost tune and have read on multiple places that no one will tune it with cats as it destroys cats which is fine by me I got no issue with replacing the stock Hpipe.

My question is i'm reading mixed reviews on which to go with X or H pipe..
Having Roush axle back mufflers I heard throwing a catless X pipe on their will make them stupid loud and throwing a catless H pipe won't effect it as much???

What is some of your guys opinions on the X vs H pipe??

X pipe will create more sound cancellation and be quieter with a higher pitched exhaust note.

H pipe will be a tad louder, with a lower tone.

You have a factory H-Pipe, so an easy solution would be cat deletes.

I will be reporting back soon when I have my SW off road X pipe installed. As of now, I have the Roush AB installed already. And, I will also be installing the ghost cam tune, just for fun.

That would be muchly appreciated, the roush exhaust is loud already which I like but I gotta shift at like 1800-2000 inorder for the cops to leave me alone if I shift at like 2500-3000 they love to lecture me (no tickets thankfully). So I am trying to not go any louder although if an O/R Hpipe makes it a bit louder but with a lower tone that won't be so bad but would like to know how much of a tone difference the Xpipe makes

Just gotta find time to do it. I've had the X pipe for 2-3 weeks already. I will first run it with the roush AB and video that. If it is as insanely loud, as everyone believes, I may go back to the stock AB for a while before getting something like the GT500 AB. I will video it every step of the way though.
