I would like to make my car louder
I know, I know, I should put an aftermarket exhaust on. However, before I do that I would like to know if there any modifications I could do to make my car louder. Is there possibly some way to alter my current exhaust?

Just cut off your stock mufflers and run straight pipes that opens up your exhaust for no muffled sound, I got SLP loudmouth straight pipes and its loud enough for me. If you don't what to buy a exhaust just cut the stocks off and bolt some tips on, it will be loud then.

You have axle back mufflers. Basically one clamp and then a couple of hangers attach each muffler to the car just behind the back axle. Look under there and you'll see it. Loosen the clamp so its free, loosen the hangers, maybe spray some PB on there to let it soak so they are easier to remove or just pull the heck out of em and the mufflers come off. The sound you get will pretty much be the same as a delete muffler. You might need to figure out how to hang the exhaust pipes above the axle because they are probably held in place in part by the mufflers and the hangers for the mufflers.

There are a LOT of axlebacks available. It all depends on what you want to spend and what you want it to sound like. The stock axlebacks are bolted, not welded, so it's a DIY project.

If you want a cheap loud exhaust Pypes, just be warned they may rust out on you and have fitting issues getting them installed. They are not known for the long term application and the fit is not consistent even between the same hardware. I would not recommend them but if your looking for cheap and loud they will do it.
SLP Loudmouths would be a better option just as loud, better quality system.
