How do I get my popping rev limiter back 2006 mustang gt
#21
It had a Cai jlt 89mm and a tune of some sort rev was set at 6750 and it would bounce with a nice aggressive sound loved it then my system got flashed to stock and now I bought a specter 100mm Cai and I've got a diablo handheld and I still can't figure out I put the rev to 6800 just to see what happens still no noise....will adding fuel at wot cause the sound to come back

id seriously dont touch anything on the tuner by myself, call or email a reputable tuner at least, they can send you a canned/email tune with the specs your trying to get, and they might be the only one that can tell you what were your previous option that given the effect your describing.
look with steeda, bama, breenspeed(probably mispelled this one) lethal etc, i dont think a canned tune is very expensive, steeda charged me 75$ for mine.
but dont forget, boucing the rev on a stock 3v at 6750+ is really a fun that wont last long before you start shopping for a new engine:P

Where do I get a wot box and how does it hook up? And yea I have no clue does sct get rid of soft rev limiter? I messages diablo sport seeing what they could do maybe there was a box on it and they took it off when they flashed my car? Idk like I said I just love that aggressive rev limiter sounds awesome

This is why I will never buy a used sports/muscle car.....
This isn't fast n furious and a stock 3V 4.6L won't last nearly as long always getting bumped to 6600+ RPM.
I'm favoriting this thread for when I see part two of this "New engine or rebuild..."
