I purchased my 09' used last year. It has a lot of mods that were either added on or came as options from the factory/dealer. I liked the look of the car and I decided that I would only do minor things. Tinted the windows, Weather tech floor mats and shorty antenna are the only things I have done. Oh and a set of tires just in the last month or so. This is my DD and I run around 90 miles round trip to work and back while getting 26ish MPG on the highway. I bought the car for ME..... Not to get into a modding war with myself and I am the only one who I care about as far as making happy with the car. Like it was said above.... "It is what it is"....

I really really tried not to mod. But now I'm up to; the GT quad exhaut, CAI, Boss 302 manifold, upgraded rotors & pads, and Tune. All of it gets put on over the next week.

It's a sickness I tell you! A sickness!

I respect all of you that have self control...

Other than my 2011 SVT wheels, my 2010 GT is bone stock.

Right down to the untinted windows and "Quality Is Job #1" sticker still on the quarter window!

Not that I'm opposed to modding, I just think that Ford nailed it with the 2010 refresh. I was pretty much out of Mustangs and about to buy a C3 Vette when I saw the pictures and knew I had to have one. It looked that good to me. It doesn't need anything, IMO.

It all comes down to personal preference. If you add mods to a car and expect to get the money back, it must be your first car. I modify my cars based on what I like. If I modded based on what my neighbors like, the car would be much quieter. So far I've kept it very simple and still get questions and compliments. I do plan on pulling the trigger on more major mods in the future. I enjoy driving the h3ll out of that car!

I imagine in Sweden a Mustang is not a common sight! I bet you get a lot of interesting comments!

I do. It has such great lines.

This is my 6th Mustang, I've had a:

1965
1966
1989
1995
2004 (my favorite body style)
*skipped right over the 2005-09s, they really didn't do much for me*
2010

I've had the itch for a C6 Vette lately, but I'm going to keep my 2010 GT when I finally get one. My son says he wants the Mustang as soon as he's 16.

I love driving the GT. I drive a '99 4Runner for my daily driver, so when I get in my GT, it feels like a rocket ship! LOL

i have yearned for a vette since i could walk..right now we need a 4 seater..maybe in 5 years time it could be a c7 vette..
u know the best thing for me about the newer shape stang?
no vilolent hood shake..over 100 mph it felt very unsafe with the hood shaking like that..ford made a big mistake on that.
16 and a gt stang? lucky lad ..here stangs are prestige cars for the rich..i paid 30k usd for 2010 gt lol..that's what they cost here.
