Default Started my battery move to the trunk

Got the battery box all mounted, I'll start the wiring tomorrow. I'm having back problems so I'm taking it slow. The box is bigger then the battery so I move the battery inside the box to one side and installed a circuit breaker inside and a digital voltage (with a small push button when I want to check it) on the side.

Just freeing up space in the engine compartment or going for better weight distribution? Looks nice and clean!

Mostly weight distribution.. But cleaning up the engine compartment and making more room in there is a good benefit.

Nice, what are doing for a shut off switch outside? If you go to the track you have to have one on the back of the car with the battery in the trunk to pass tech inspection. I've heard of people using a second taillight with a hole for the "push off" rod to come through and switching taillights for the track.

If it becomes an issue, my thoughts are to have it go through the fake gas cap.

Nice! I've thought about moving my battery too. Anything to free up some weight in the front since the Whipple added weight. I've heard of people running the battery cables inside the car and under the carpet to the trunk. Are you doing the same or going outside?

Yes im going to run the cables inside the car and out under the dash. You need to take the pass side inner wheel well off to get access to the area that the cable will run through.

I believe that it is any time you move the battery to the trunk. At least it is at the tracks around here
