Nice. I have never heard a Brenspeed owner unhappy about their purchase.

Now thats a nice upgrade. What about your trans? Are you doing anything to it to handle all that new torque? Billit input shaft would the minimum I would think. Can you share the cost of this upgrade?

Yes I was thinking about the input shaft and I may have that done as well. So far the cost for the 302 packages was 2700 after taxes. Another 1500 in hardware and gaskets (followers and lash, flex plate bolts, timing chain, head gaskets plus a few other items). I don't have injectors yet or a new pulley. I plan on using ID injectors. I've heard great things about them. I believe those are around 1000.

For the actuall build will be around 2700. This includes machine shop of heads, spark plugs, fluids, Dyno tune, assembly, engine R&R.

So total cost be 8k and that's without the input shaft. Not bad plus they warranty it for I believe three years. I'm looking for 525 to the wheel

Update!!

Well I wasn't sure when id be able to get my car up north to get the work done since im away for work. Brent has offered to trailer my car up there for free of charge. He is dropping a car off in IL sometime next week and then he will have the guys make the trip to my house to pick her up. Its about 2.5 hours from the house their shop. Sounds like my build will be getting underway in Feb. It is a relief to know that I don't have to worry about trying to get it up there. So hopefully when I get home in another month my car will be ready to go for a drive. Maybe mother nature will allow me to drive it a bit when im home.

You know when I first read about brenspeed I thought **** this shop is probably out west or south where the weather is great. I didn't know where they were located until I got on there website and looked. To my amazement they were located a few short hours of me. So yea its nice to know that I have a company like brenspeed in my backyard. I know that each add on will perform great and If there is a problem I know they will take care of it.
