Question front door problem

i have a 06 mustang that that little black rod between the door and car body is broken. what is it called and where can i get one?

Car door stop I BELIEVE........Ford or a salvage yard for the replacement.

Looking around, this seems to be the name.....mustang door stop check mechanism. You might have to call a Ford dealer direct.

Thank goodness it wasn't a "rear" door problem . J/K


According to the online manuals, that "thing" is called a "door check arm"
