2005 - 2013 Mustang LED Illuminated Door Sills

Need a little color in your Mustang? Illuminated sills became a popular original equipment option starting with 2010 model year Mustangs and are now available for Mustangs dating back to the 2005 Model year.

The introduction of personalized dash color options for your Ford Mustang offers the ability to customize your interior with interchangeable dash colors. The MY COLOR option has been made available for the 2010 through 2013 model years; a feature that is also available for those model years with these units.
Although MY COLOR is not an available option for the 2005-09 Mustangs, with these sill plates, Mustang owners will have their choice of either Red, Blue, Green or White lighting which is determined by the specific wiring options included with each set. For 2010-13 models however, these sill plates will easily integrate into the MY COLOR system for a full range of color choices.

Kits include all necessary wiring, complete sill assemblies and installation instructions.

MyColor is an option for 2005-09. So would these sill plates operate the same for those years?

These would need to be hardwired for the 2005-2009 in one of four colors: red, white, blue or green. The only way 2005-2009 get the multiple color options is if you already have the illuminated sill plate. Hope this was helpful.

I bought a lighted door sills kit and it shows that I can change it to 7 different colors. It shows green, red, white, light blue, dark blue, orange and yellow. I am trying to get the dark blue, does anybody know how to get the dark blue. I got them on but I can only get the light blue.

I am looking for the connector that plugs into the sillplate connector. Is that available? Then I can tie into my ambient lighting
