2013 Mustang GT CS mods and photos
Let's call this a Father and Son project. Interesting thing is the Father is 78 and the son is 54. Yes we are among the elderly in this forum but our passion for cars will keep up with the best of you. We have been enjoying customizing cars and motorcycles together for much of my life. From VW bugs to Exotics. It doesn't matter what the vehicle, what matters is the time spent researching and collaborating on the projects together as Father and Son.
This 2013 is among our latest projects. This one is for Dad. He wanted an American Muscle Car to replace his highly customized Harley Davidson as a "Safer Toy".
We spec'd out and ordered him a new 2013 GT California Special. Race Red and Manual of course. The list of Mods is too large to list but the foundation includes Roush Suspension, Exhaust, Splitters, Engine goodies, Saleen style wheels, Ford Racing Tune, Side Louvers, Custom painted Engine parts along with a big assortment of polished aluminum and chrome pieces for the engine and interior.
Here is the current result. It's never finished of course. I flew to Salt Lake City this past week and helped take some photos of the car. My dad gets his share of looks and comments on the car. I challenge anyone to find a cleaner one out there. He enjoys the daily wipe down.

First and foremost - Wow, just wow! I don't think I've seen a cleaner S197 in years. I'm only a young buck (let's call it around 30) but this hits very close to home in regards to the projects (From Aircooled Bugs to Exotics is how I got into cars too) This is really, really clean! I'm not sure what else could be done to this car but if you guys are seeing any 2013 Mustang Parts that you need shoot me a PM and I'll get you set up with the best pricing possible. Thanks so much for sharing this with us and for my new wallpaper!

Thanks for your comments. I agree the CS wheels are nice but we were looking for something more aggressive and really liked the way the Saleen style wheels compliment the car. Interesting side note we had a hard time unloading the CS wheels. I'm surprised there wasn't a bigger market for them.
