Default roush 12 gt drone or no drone?

Hi all

Just like to get some feed back. Im going to get some axle back exhaust for my 2012 gt. Im thinking Roush. Any comments on them. Im hearing they may have drone at hiway cruising speeds. Let me know what you think and what kind would be best. Like to hear comments from owners with other brands.

thanks Luke from the cold north

from what I've read from other members here, roush is nearly drone free and sounds like a v-8 Mustang should on a stock car

I love my Corsas. Zero drone. Quiet at cruise, will blow your mind at WOT. Best exhaust I've ever owned.

I love my Roush mufflers and I hate them. They have a great sound at start up and low speed cruising / light acceleration. Once you put your foot into them all hell breaks loose and your car becomes extremely raspy. This high-RPM raspiness is really an issue with the design of mufflers that are multi function / high flow bypass.

Roush mufflers have no drone. They are half the price of Corsa's and all of the other decent AB's. As long as you still have your cats, Roush is the best bang for the buck. Great sound and NO DRONE.

We have gotten an overwhelming amount of compliments on our axlebacks. There is always the one or two cases where somebody may not be happy but exhaust is really all personal preference but I constantly have customer on the phone telling me how much they love the sound.

Roush axlebacks are basically perfect, if you keep the rest of your exhuast stock which i recommend.

I have a 14 GT with the Roush AB and Boss side pipes with restrictor plates removed. The sound is insanely good. Sounds like a full on race car at wot but fairly mild when just cruising. Had just the side pipes with stock ab at first and was wanting more. The roush added exactly what I was looking for with no droning.

Which Roush AB's? They make 3. The off roads are have so much drone I found myself cruising in 4th on the highway to make it stop. The regualr ones were too quiet for me but had 0 drone. The extremes are what I have now and there is no drone, loud as hell and I LOVE them,

You sure you are not thinking about another brand? I could be wrong but as far as I know Roush makes one exhaust for the mustang which you can get with round or square tips. Never heard Roush exhaust and quiet mentioned in the same sentence before.
