Need some help on exhaust -resonators or x-pipe
I have a 2013 GTCS with Roush Axle Backs. Looking for more sound volume. Want more of the race car sound yet still somewhat refined. Nothing crazy. I've seen some mixed reviews doing my research so I thought I would ask those of you who have done this for your input. Should I simply have the resonators deleted at the local muffler shop or should I replace the factory H Pipe for an aftermarket X Pipe? Thoughts?

for more sound volume, removing the cats will get you the most bang for the buck
switching from h to x will get you more of the x pipe tone, but wont get more volume.
for more volume you need to lessen the restriction so more air can flow through, resulting in more sound volume.
but seeing you are in CA, removing the cats will make you fail smog inspection.
so deleting the resonators will make it a little louder.
