Default HID head and fogs

i had 30000k hids on my heads and they where so blue visibility wasnt the best but that blue color was deep lol then i decided i wanted to see the road so i went to 8000k which was fine until i tinted my headlights then i had to go to 55w 5000k which has been fine for me i also got 3000k fog lights which i love

30000k super blue

8000k

5000k tinted heads and 3000k fogs tinted yellow

5000ks a good choice, and the capping will def help.
heres 6000k, yours will be more white and probably have a better cutoff cuz of capping

You guys rock!! I should have them in by Thursday, I can't wait!!!

@Splitfire: Where did you get the tinting material for the fog lights. I want to go the same route but am trying to save up to put the fog light closer together, I love that look. Any pix in day time?

I personally like a little blue in my HID's...if I had them I'd probably go with 8000k all round

Some say it's ricer, but I say neh, a little color too stand out just a bit more is alright. I like blue, it's a good color.

That said, after 8k, it becomes too blue and starts to lose brightness and REALLY draws negative attention. Not hatin' on anyone...no flame

I was leaning towards the 6000K for the hint of blue but found a few youtube video and noticed that the 5000K had just the tint of blue I wanted. Plus, a very blue light would look kind of funny with yellow fog lights, the route I want to go.

Spitfire, was the tint easy to install?? How did you cut the shape perfectly??

Over 6000k is rice. 5000k looks good while not losing much usable light. My 5000k's look cool blue when they first turn on then turn pretty much perfectly white.
