BTW - You just remove the entire front bumper and then take off the grille.

If you all have stopped yelling .....the entire bumper assembly comes off fairly easy and the grill surround is detached after removal. The tricky part is getting the grill off the surround as the grill tabs want to break so be careful. In my opinion the grill surround should have been painted from the factory. Ford copied Camaro by not painting the surround and it just plain looks wrong to me. Hell the V6 front looks better except for the corralled horse.

I agree, I did a Roush Front Fascia so I had to take the grille assembly off the stock fascia. I took the assembly to my painter and had them seperate the grille for painting. It appears they used a screwdriver and opened the slots big enough for the tabs to pass out.
