Default 2012 Decklid emblem

My car is blacked out except for wheels and emblem.... Anyone have pix of blacked out emblem?

Can you buy it somewhere?
Do you paint it, with what and what's the best method?

Thanks

+1 for plasti dip. I did mine and was surprised at how easy it was. The most common mistake is to try and cover it in 1 pass. Take your time and do 4-5 light coats and it should come out great. There are a bunch of "how to" videos on youtube if you want tips and to see it in action.

It also works great on the 5.0 badges if you haven't done those yet

Yep, plasti-dip. Just make sure you take your time and maybe throw some towels/newspaper on your decklid/bumper in case you overspray. It'll come off once it dries, but it'll save you the trouble...

Here's mine:

I had the guys at Emblem Pros make a custom emblem for me. They have done several for forum members. www.emblempros.com

They also make an engine cover dress up kit.

Thanks to Alan, I Just finished mine from EmblemPro's as well....

Turned out great and is what FORD should have done from the get go instead of using the 2010 "GT" badge.

That is really cool. Might think about doing something like this now. How much did it cost and did you have to send them your stock emblem?

It costs $43 shipped....and no, they did not need my stock emblem. They send you a replacement center piece and you remove your stock center and attach the new one.
