Finally dipped my whole car

Its just RTR front lip and chin spoilers and RTR rear. I am impartial to plastidipping. I may actually dip my car simply because i change my mind on color every month or so. I think its funny how people get their panties in a wad over nothing, especially a nothing that peels off regardless if it takes some elbow grease or not

Heres my take on this, its great for people who cant afford a paint job or the car has faded paint from being in the sun too long. Which is what I used it for with my buddy on his sn95. The car sat in florida for 8 years and the roof, hood and deck lid were all sun faded. So we just dipped it till he can get it repainted in the spring. Its not bad looking and looks better than a rattle can job. But this stuff actually kills the clearcoat on your paint. Does more harm than good especially to a newish vehicle.

I am extremely curious how does this "kill" your paint job. I think most people are missing the point completely on plasty dip. It is not a hard automotive finish that is meant to last for a long duration, unlike paint. The points of plasty dip is to have a finish that is easily and completely removable. also plasty dip will cost you $3-$400 to dip your whole car if you do it, A paint job will cost you 1500 bucks minimum if you do it(The caveat here is if you do it and most people are talentless and cannot paint). and of course a paint job can range from that minimal amounts up to thousands upon thousands of dollars. plus a paint job takes several hours not only because of sanding prep and bodywork but also lay down the paint you have several days invested again if you do it
