LOVE IT! What company? How's the fit, finish, and (I'm sure everyone will want to know this) does it weigh any less than the stock hood?

Thank you! It's from VIS Racing. The fit and finish are great. Flawless finish, and the fit is OEM quality. No hood pins needed, which I love because I never like drilling hood pins into a carbon fiber hood as it increases the chances of cracking the clear coat and can look bad. Yes, it's definitely lighter when it comes to the weight compared to the stock hood. Best part is since I'm sponsored I get ridiculous discounts on parts, this hood being one of them.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the compliments. I really love the hood. Hopefully soon I'll be able to switch out for the carbon fiber trunk and GT500 carbon fiber spoiler.

Love it but I got to ask - what is the quality of the CF? I have always wanted CF pieces (hood, trunk, spoiler) but have seen sooooo many bad CF parts that start to look like crap from sun damage.

The quality is great, check out www.visracing.com and you'll see how great of quality their carbon fiber parts are. It's true that they eventually tend to yellow over time but if you have a good quality hood I doubt you have to deal with that. I had a Seibon carbon fiber hood on my 03 Celica back in the day and I had that hood for about 2-3 years, daily driver, and I live in Los Angeles so it tends to be sunny out here a lot lol...and no flaws or fading at all. It looked good. Personally, I'll always stick to VISRacing, Seibon, or Extreme Dimensions. Those are reputable companies that have great, if not the best quality carbon fiber, but thats my .02
