Default Finished my custom stripes today (two-tone color)

Haven't been around here much lately, but I thought I'd share the new look of my 2013 GT that I just finished it today. I designed, cut, and installed the stripes myself.

That's a Cervini Type IV hood, CDC Scoops, and a custom Trucarbon decklid with chrome pony/lettering. Also have the flowmaster outlaw series axel-backs. (Next on my list are wheels/tires, lowering, and custom leather seats.)

My last car was Silver and Black with red highlights. This one is the exact oppostite (Black and silver with red). Always liked the 3-color look! Anyway.... here are the pics!

Thanks TJAY!

I've done custom vinyl on a couple of my mustangs now. I get a little better at it each time. I order uncut vinyl rolls from rvinyl.com and then measure and cut everything myself.

It can be pretty tricky at first. Definitely use a wet application method. And I'd recommend watching TONS of youtube how-to videos first. But the good news is that you can absolutely do it. Plus Uncut rolls of film are cheap. I did this entire car for only about $125.

It's just part of my personal brand. Title of the second book in a series I'm writing. First book (and previous mustang) was titled "Fifthwind"

Love the two color stripe. I've been told the hardest part about applying hood, roof and trunk stripes are getting them to line up straight. Any secrets or suggestions you feel like sharing? I've put small hash marks on one of my cars and will eventually add a SS stripe to my mustang but a local shop wants to charge me $1200 for them so I might try it myself.
