Default Pict and mods on my new 2013 **PIC HEAVY**

Grabbed the car like 3 week ago, went in vacation in mexico for a week, car was already at the shop doing some serious mods, here she is now, done for now winter is coming, will see whats next on the mod list for next summer.

Standard (STD) adjustable coil over suspension, the handling is totally crazy with theses, just a bit too rough for daily driving, will have to check adjustement.

next was a catted x-pipe

american racing long tubes headers

[B]great sound overall, quiet on idle and cruise, monster growl over 3500 rpm

and a set of new wheels, well, old 2008 svt rims, profesionnaly painted black gloss, i absolutely love them! 100x better then the 20'' i had. car is pulling crazy, tearing and handling like it is suppose to.

next on the list would be 4.10, grill swap, not sure if I like or not the CDC or if I go with the roush, im guessing im needing a pan hard bar with the agressiv drop from the coilover, only annoying things is there some gear whine in 5 and 6 gear and some kind of vibration noise when Rolling up 60mph, dunno if it come from the rear axle, the tire, or the suspensions..

hows you like?

I'd recommend not doing 4.10's. you'd be well into 5th if you ever took it down the track.

I had 3.73 in my 5.0 and thought it was absolutely perfect.

Awesome car, you have done a great job with it.

Looks great, very mean!

Might I suggest that you skip the panhard and just go straight to a Watts Link? Just a thought, it makes a massive difference in handling. Just a suggestion, I think you have a winner either way!

thanks for the feedback I have no idea what watt link is, but ill definitly take a look into it, id prefer put someting that do more and skip the pan hard like your saying, just need to know what it do,

I went to the drag track today, had some tough time hooking 1-2 with my 18'' drag radila, but they are pretty near dead line, I couldnt hook if I launched any higher then 4k rpm.. time were 12.61 115.4 12.58 114.9? 12.51 116.2 and two last run were 12.81 and 12.80 115, some how I had great launch and shifting and did my worst time, not sure what happened, maybe a bit of heat soak or not agressiv enough launch.

60 ft were around 1.98 to 2.04

1/8 mile between 8.23 to 8.30,
was fun, need more pratice definitly.

on my way back home, we took a little burn out shot saying good bye to the crappy street radial, here it is

Nice!

Check it out: Watts Link. Hope that helps. They are expensive, but worth the price. I run the Fays2, but there are a few other manufacturers like Whiteline and Steeda that make them too.

Edit: since you drag race, I don't know if the price of the watts link outweighs the benefits, but that's up to you to decide.

Well i might not drag alot more, ive got told
My coilover isnt a great thing for drag racing cause the car is so stiff and tied to the ground that it doesnt transfer weight correctly. Not sure, at the end i just want to enjoy the car in different aspect with great handling and power. Thx for the "link" man, hah!

Did you check the Drive shaft angle, that could be part of your vibration. Could need an adjustable upper control arm.
Car is Looking Good.
