Whats the average price us Mustang owners pay to have tints applied?
I was quoted $299 for Llumar CTX (Ceramic) and $199 for ATR (Metallic)

Are the ceramics really worth the extra money?

That's probably a little high. I had the Llumar ATR metallic installed on mine here in knoxville, TN and I believe it was $180, and the CTX was $250

Just following up on my original question
Had them install the CTX (Ceramic) tints at a cost of $250. Seems like a good deal. Apparently they block more of the sun and keeps the interior of the car cooler. We'll see how that works out!!

Nice, keep us posted on the interior temperature and how the ceramic holds up. Did you have the clear ceramic film put on the windshield too?

It was an extra bill to do the front window and I'm not sure how it will look. Believe me, the guys at the shop tried their hardest to sell me on it. We'll see though.
So far it hasn't really been HOT in GA and the couple days it was warm (Saturday and Sunday) the car sat outside in the sun to allow the tint to dry faster. The moisture inside the car made it seem hotter than it really was. I'll shoot in another update later this weekend when the suns out in the ATL.

Seems a bit pricy.. I paid $140 cash for tint 35% on two front windows and 20% on the three rears. Not sure which kind, but they look great and have a lifetime warranty. I live in Chicago burbs btw.

I live right outside Atlanta so, it might just be the cost of doing business. I did call around to some other places and that was the going rate, give or take $10 - $20. This place was reputable and right down the road from me so I was ok with that.

The install came out great. I was worried about the drivers window. You know how it opens a little when its open? Well I was worried that it might crinkle up when opening the door but they assured me that they've done it a million times and everything would be fine.

Ceramic tints are definitely the way to go. You can tell the difference when driving around and the A/C's on. You don't feel the sun as much as you do without them.
