hey guys, I found a do-it-yourself mil eliminator how to on the net somewhere so tried to make a set of my own. Now you have to excuse the poor craftmanship because stupid Radioshack didn't have the right PC board so i had to make due without......

I later coverd the exposed wire with some brush on electrical tape and then wraped it with wire loom. They've been on for about a month now and the CEL is still off, so for about six bucks and a couple hours, it was more than worth it.

The only dumb question is the one not asked, it means Malfunction Indicator Light, it prevents that light from coming on

 

I bought a set of homeade MIL eliminators from someone on here for $5 a while back. They weren't the plug 'n plays though, they were the splice ins. I ended up not getting the midpipe I wanted and never installed 'em.

If I were you, especially if those are the plug 'n plays, I'd make a bunch and sell them for 15-20 a piece!

 

no, they're not plug and play, i had to splice into the wires. it's not hard at all, just time consuming

just to clear it up for you, when you install an off road midpipe it triggers the CEL because the computer is thinking that the cats aren't working since you don't have any. so the purpose of the mil eliminators is to change the voltage that the computer sees from the o2 sensors thus tricking it into thinking the cats are present and working

it should. as long as no CEL is on, u should be good. and if they dont look under ur car
