From what I remember you have to do that process every time you start your car right? I don't think there's a way to permanently disable it.

I'm sure Diablosport and SCT already have a way to permanently turn all that silliness off with their handheld tuners!

i disagree on back up cameras
after trying out the one in my mom's g37 i want one so bad
makes backing into a parking spot so easy when it shows you lines where your car is going to be!!
that being said im lazy lol

Could help save the life of a little kid who might sneak in behind you too.

Of course it MAY save your life, I don't understand the argument. Safety features are the things you don't use everyday but have for when things don't go right.

I check my surroundings before backing up, can't say I've ever come close to hitting anything. The backup camera is a convenience feature.

Not arguing so much as clarifying. Absolutes can get you in trouble:-) You said will when its really may. Since you like safety gear I'm just noting that a rear facing camera has a safety aspect. These points are just generic statements, not meant to be specific to any one's skills, habits or a particular situation.

I agree with Nuke but it's unavoidable that we will have fully automated cars in the near future where the driver won't even be needed.

Now, I'd love to see these improvised drivers in the event of a failure system where you need to drive the car manually.
That should be epic!

The TC on our cars can be a cut throat because some drivers can become over confident in the handling of the car and end up in a ditch anyways.
I often do you hear "I don't understand, I had the TC on!" . LOL.

Does this stay off once you set it or do you have to turn it off each time the car is on?
