How do you like the 3.7 ?

I really like mine-I've owned 3 mustangs, this is easily the best. My best time 0-60 is 5.5 seconds without dumping the clutch and I get 26-29 mixed driving and up to 32 mpg on the highway. I have the 3.31 rear end and the manual transmission. It corners and brakes extremely well, very stable at 115 MPH and it's very comfortable on long drives (750 miles-11 hrs). It has very little power up to 3,000 RPM, which helps driving in rain and snow.
The down side, it's almost too civilized. The electric steering is a little too easy, ride is a little too smooth and the engine is a little too quite. Sync sucks on mine-and you give up your rights to privacy if you use the sync health reporting-they can use your phone and contact info for anything they want. My shaker 500 had pretty poor bass, easily fixed for $500 for a set of Shelby Subs and a Sony 200W amp. We have about the same winters as you do, I have winter tires on the stock rims, Chrome 9x18s for summer.
I'd definitely recommend it as a daily driver. I get a lot of stares and compliments.

Pros; good gas milage, good power (faster than the GTs I've owned), much better handling than previous Mustangs too, Subjective but I really like the changes they made to the body style and better looking than Camaro or Challeger.
Cons; Drive shaft, vibration is annoying, Cup holders, 2nd and 4th are hard to get to if you have a drink in either holder. Would like more TQ below 2500rpm

This is my second mustang and it's a DD. No issues, just be light with your right foot in the winter and you'll be fine.
I went with the V6 because A) The 2013 V6 is almost as powerful as the GT was just a few years back and B) I commute almost 75 miles a day so I'll take those extra mpg's where I can.
Besides, as I get a little older the smile starts to appear on my face cruisin' just a little slower anyway.

I love mine. I've only had it 2 1/2 weeks and have about 1300 miles on it but so far I'm all smiles. I'm an adrenaline junky and have not been left wanting for more power here. For the price difference (~$7,500) I just couldn't justify buying the V8 especially as mine is my daily driver and I commute about 60 miles a day. Rather than spending the extra money for the V8 I'm putting that $7,500 into a faster bike for my speed fix - and that bike will go a LOT faster. I'd say take one for a test drive and judge for yourself. I did and was really surprised by how much power the V6 had (even down low) - I was expecting it to be very high strung and have no power down low and that isn't the case. If I were to buy again I'd still go with the 6.

I owned a 4.0 with a 3.31:1 gear, my new 3.7 is faster, lighter and handles
better. I am so glad I wrecked my 2009, and they hold their value like no
other car. Resale is a breeze, or compensation after collision.
