2013 Hesitation/Stumble in middle of RPM
#11
I have the same problem as well, but it doesn't seem to be as severe as what your guys are describing. I feel it under moderate to heavy throttle input at lower RPMS between 2K - 3.5K RPM. I wouldn't call what I feel a hesitation though. It's more of a flat spot or bogging. It's doesn't feel like a hesitation. More like a momentary ignition timing issue.

Mine is a 2013 bone stock, base package, and I'm having the exact same issue. The only difference with mine is that it happens all of the time. Any time I'm accelerating heavily, I get a momentary RPM loss as I approach 3000 RPM. After that it pulls like a beast, but it has happened while accelerating to get on the expressway which was a major pucker moment to say the least. Anyone else having this issue? The dealer gave me the ol "that's how it's supposed to shift" garbage.

I used to notice this before I changed exhaust, but it wasn't nearly as severe as you're describing OP.
During the middle of the rev range, the cams are being phased...so maybe there's something off with that system? It would take some data logging to tell though...

I do have this issue also, since no one is talking in my other thread, I'll bring it here
I have a 14 mustang with 2600 miles on it and ever since I bought it "used" with 2300 miles it seems that when slowing down into a stop, first gear seams to kick the car forward as it engages into it from second. Is this normal? I'm just a little paranoid as my last car had major transmission issues.
It happens just about every time when slowing down to a stop sign.

I've noticed this same thing in mine as well. Duplicated it with all 3 tunes from BAMA as well as stock with no tune. Seems like everyone is having this problem? Sounds to me just more like a characteristic trait then it does an actual problem. No clue as to what could be causing it though. 1/2-3/4 throttle when accelerating it bogs around 2500-3000 rpm in 2nd or 3rd gear. Does not do it full throttle or when light on the throttle. Mine is so bad it actually will throw you forward unexpectedly.

Has anyone ever felt this happen with TCS off? I mentioned this in my original post but dismissed it since I was sure the light wasn't flashing. BUT, now that I read about this "Torque Management" stuff, I see that some GT owners have experienced similar things with TCS on. Their solution was to use Sport Mode or TCS off.
I ran last night with TCS off and today with Advancetrak off and I haven't felt it yet. Hard to say after only one day though. But I bet it's this "Torque Management" pulling timing. Maybe it's anticipating wheel slip or something.
Not sure if all V6's have sport mode, but I have the performance package so I do, Will try that also. It also comes with gears so maybe that's why I feel the hesitation more than others.
So what's better. Driving daily with TCS off or dealing with the hesitation? Not sure.
