Default Aftermarket shifter

Hey guys im in the market for an after market shifter but i dont know which one to get. if any of you guys upgraded your shifter to anything (steeda, barton, sr, mgw) please let me know if you like the upgrade or not.

I have the hurst shifter and I love it. The overall consensus on this forum is that MGW is the best though.

I went with the SR because I wanted to retain the reverse lockout. I love it so far but I am sure the others are better haha. But do buy a shifter bracket with you upgrade your shifter. That piece of junk ford put there isn't worth anything!

hey just ordered the mgw, ill let u guys know my thoughts about it once i install it, it should arrive in about 3 weeks!!! so exited

its not hard, but you need the right tools and a lift. svtpp has a great turorial http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...ll-review.html

I did mine on the garage floor with a floor jack and some jack stands for safety....and a few common hand tools.....took about an hour and a half....start to finish
