How much is too much Compression for a SuperCharger
I am considering getting a centrifugal super charger, but I want to know. How much Compression is too much for a pump gas car. I am going to be doing a PI swap, and my compressions will be around 10.2:1. And I would like to do around 9 PSI. But I want to know if that is too much compression with the super charger.

With the right tune you'll be fine at 9 psi
Add an inter/aftercooler or meth injection https://mustangforums.com/m_3430620/tm.htm
I ran about 9psi for about a year with 10.5:1 compression with no probs

you can change your piston head design to help lower compression... wont be cheap though and they need to be forged

Well, if it is an issue to have that much compression I would just rebuild the bottom end all together. But, I was reading an article that said because of the lag and the way the Cetrifugals work, higher compression is not as bad as it is for a roots style or turbo set up. So I figured Id ask, as I have heard 9 to 1 compression is pretty high for Forced Induction, but I was wondering if anyone had any idea if 10 to 1 is too much.
