Just cruise craigslist, here, and corral for used heads. Just bcause they are used on a 302 doesn't mean they wont work for a 351. Alot if not all of them are drilled for 1/2 inch head bolts that they 351 uses.

Check your PM's!

They would work but you would have to get the head bolt holes drilled out to 1/2 holes. You won't produce a whole lot of power though. The mid 90's lightnings had regular GT40's on a 351w and made like 230-250hp I think but upwards to 350 in torque. I would find a set of aluminum heads if you can. If your on a budget and the P's are all you have then go ahead and use them. If I don't have a set of aluminum heads when I do a 351 swap I am just going to use my ported GT40's but again won't produce an *** load of power.

Would it change longtube headers at all? And I understand I would need another oil pan, but would any 351 pan work, or does it have to bemodded to fit ona fox, would there be any need for a different radiator, or water pump, or even front end springs? And would any 83-93 mustang 5.0s have the same firing order? or just the HO version, or are all 5.0s in those year HO?
