if i swap my 351 out of my 67 into my 87 gt, can i just reuse my shorties, buy new mounts, bolt up the same t5 thats in the car?

and more importantly, can i just drill out the holes in my 5.0 heads so the studs fit and reuse them with the 5.0 intake manifold? this would be incredibly easy to swap if i can do all this. just buy new rad hoses and motor mounts which i need anyway. then limp it to the tuning shop

No the intakes are even the same base, the headers wont work! tranny anything after i think 65 they went to the 6 bolt bellhousing anything before was a 5 bolt pattern!

you will need a different distributor also, oilpan etc! main things are dist, pan, headers, intake! everything else is pretty much useable!
The heads can be drilled to 1/2 in for the studs on the 351!

the monuts off your 5.0l will have to be bolted to your 351, since the older mounts were held by a thru bolt and nut instead of a stud in the k member!

oh one more thing will u be using a roller cam with this engine swap? if not you will have to use the bronze gear on the dist instead of the steel gear on the roller dist!
